The NursingEd website will provide you with information and tools that will aid you in Exploring a Pathway of Nursing Education and prepare you for entry into a Nursing School Program. Components of the site include:

The Exploration Module is a comprehensive program that takes you on an intensive voyage into the field of nursing and yourself. The program will allow you to asses your academic and aptitude skills, as well as observe numerous ways to look at the various roles, duties and tasks that an RN is expected and mandated to perform.

The Assessment Module will allow you to do a basic assessment of your current academic skills and aptitude that apply to the field of nursing. Based on those assessments, the program will assign courses to enhance your skill level if needed.

The Exploration Module will allow you to explore a Virtual Nursing School lecture hall and clinical lab videos with interactive exercises, interviews and real life lectures. There will be an opportunity to explore a hands-on interactive Virtual Patient with simulation scenarios in the clinical assessment of respiratory and cardiac problem patients.

The Health Core Basics Course Module will provide you with the opportunity to take a Core selection of courses, along with several Elective courses that will expose you to many of the learning aspects you will encounter in Nursing School. Upon successful completion of the Health Core Basics Course you will receive a Pre-Nursing Certificate to verify your exposure to these basic nursing education topic areas, hopefully strengthening your nursing school application and success in obtaining a Nursing degree.
